Additional Information

1. Why is the church named Mill Plain? 

We are embracing our roots from the initial establishment in 1883.    


2. Are you a bilingual church?

Our services are currently in English, but are praying for a Spanish service in the future.  


3. Where are you located?

We are located on the east end of Waterbury, at 242 Southmayd Rd.  The crossroad is Homestead Avenue. 


4. What is your denomination? 

We consider ourselves to be non-denominational, with congregational roots.  


5. What does non-denominational mean?

Non-denominational means that as a church, we do not hold to specific denominational doctrine.  Our focus is on the word of God in its entirety. 


7. What time does your service start?

Worship begins at 10:00 am.  

(Our service times will be changing beginning on September 7th, 2025.  

New service times: Traditional Service 9:30 am, Contemporary Service 10:30 am.)


8. Do you have a children's ministry?

Yes, only for the contemporary service at 10:30 am.


10. Do you have a youth ministry?

Yes, our youth ministry is called converge.  It is for ages 13 - 25 years old. 


11. Do you have bible study classes?

Yes, every Wednesday from 8:00p-9:00p via Zoom.  


12. Do you have any family activities?

Yes! Please check out our calendar of events as we update it with fun family events throughout the year.
